Grooved gasket [convex-shaped profile] with loose centering ring and graphite layers on both sides

The convex-shaped grooved stainless steel core [1.4571/ pitch 1.0 mm] is covered on both sides with soft material layers made of expanded pure graphite and fitted with a loose centering ring [half shells, spot-welded], which ensures centering on the flange bolts and prevents vibration fractures in the sealing area.

Serrated Gaskets require low minimum surface pressures and can be used for very high surface pressures. Serrated Gaskets are characterized by a high pressure application limit and a low leakage rate and are suitable for the most extreme operating conditions.
