Spray Shield [PTFE]

The PTFE splash protection sleeves are safety sleeves to prevent splashes from flanges and other pipe connections. They provide effective splash protection to prevent dangerous spray formation. Safe to use even at higher pressures. Splash protection sleeves made of PTFE are versatile. They offer resistance to almost all aggressive media.

  • The PTFE protection consists of three layers of woven Teflon-coated fiberglass fabric with a central Teflon grid fabric for added strength. This material is naturally resistant to UV radiation. A litmus leak indicator is located in a clear Teflon window.
  • The easy-to-attach, firmly lockable fastening system consists of a Velcro fastener and a braided pull cord made of 100% Teflon-coated fiberglass. When tightened, the fabric is pulled over the flange screws in the direction of the pipe wall, preventing it from splashing out to the side.
  • The design enables the safe discharge of leaks and prevents pressure build-up within the shield.
  • The PTFE shield design allows for easy installation and removal without special tools. It can also be reused in the event of a leak, making it a long-term solution.
