Envelope gaskets made of modified PTFE (TFM™ 1600) with internal diffusion barrier and stainless steel corrugated ring, fire-safe design

The casing of the PWI Gaskets is made of TFM™ 1600 with an internal diffusion barrier (4 mm). The stainless steel corrugated ring used (standard 1.4571) has a pitch of 3 mm and has a center outlet. The graphite layers on the outside protect the PTFE inside from direct exposure to flames in the event of a fire.
