Spray Shield PTFE (transparent)

PTFE Flangeguards are safety shields to prevent splashing from flanges and other pipe connections. Surebands offer the most efficient and fastest splash protection on the market. Dangerous spray formation is prevented, liquid drips off in a controlled flow in the event of damage and pressure is reliably reduced within the Sureband. Flangeguards made of pure PTFE are versatile. They offer resistance to almost all aggressive media.

  • Made of PTFE materials (no fiberglass) with clear ECTFE exterior and multi-layer ETFE mesh interior. This material offers unparalleled chemical properties. All our shields are tested on our hydrostatic pressure testing facility, certificates available on request.
  • The inner mesh is pressed against the flange and prevents direct and lateral splashing. The fluid pressure inside is distributed quickly, resulting in reliable droplet release.
  • The tape can be installed very quickly thanks to the robust Velcro fasteners. It has been tested for leaks at various opening sizes and a pressure of up to 75 bar. It can be reused and is therefore a long-term solution.
  • This product can also be manufactured for valves and other non-standard pipe connections.
