Sealmax Style 908
Sealmax Style 908 is an interlock-braided packing manufactured from graphited PTFE yarn, reinforced at the corners with aramid yarn and lubricated with silicone oil. It is a high-performance multi-yarn packing that combines the flexibility of graphited PTFE with the strength and durability of aramid. This construction improves resistance in higher pressure applications and provides better thermal conductivity compared to standard aramid packings.
Reciprocating pumps, mixers, stirrers, reactors, and industrial and chemical process valves.
A wide variety of media including abrasive fluids, cold and hot water, steam, solvents, oils, diluted acids, brine, sewage, etc.
Well suited for sealing applications involving high pressures or abrasive media, ensuring longer service life.
Not suitable for highly concentrated acids and lyes, alkali media, fluorine, and fluorine compounds at high temperatures.
