Sealmax Style 908 – Graphited PTFE with Aramid Corners
Sealmax Style 908 is an interlock-braided packing manufactured from graphited PTFE yarn, reinforced at the corners with aramid yarn and lubricated with silicone oil. It is a high-performance multi-yarn packing that combines the flexibility of graphited PTFE with the strength and durability of aramid. This construction improves resistance in higher pressure applications and provides better thermal conductivity compared to standard aramid packings.

A wide variety of media including abrasive fluids, cold and hot water, steam, solvents, oils, diluted acids, brine, sewage, etc.
Style 908 is well suited for sealing applications involving high pressures or abrasive media, ensuring longer service life.
Style 908 is not suitable for highly concentrated acids and lyes, strong alkali media, fluorine, or fluorine compounds at elevated temperatures.
