Cellflon Blue – ePTFE Gasket Tape

KWO® CellFlon® blue is a gasket tape made from expanded PTFE with a glass filler and a modified structure.

By adding the fibres and through the patented CellFlon® processing method the mechanical properties of the gasket tape are considerably improved. The result is a substantially reduced cold-flow tendency, a clearly improved recovery and excellent sealing properties in systems with thermal cycling

The tape features a self-adhesive backing for easy installation. The used glue has a very high adhesive force.

Chemical resistance pH range from 0 to 12; high chemical resistance (except molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine) /s
Temperature range recommended temperature range: from -160°C to +180°C; material heat resistant up to +315°C
Pressure resistance resistant within the usual pressure range of standard flanges up to 40 bars; suitable for vacuum applications (depends upon the concrete installation conditions)
